Approximately 90 people attended the tribute ceremony and commemorative dinner for National Technical Engineer Day, which concluded the II Regional Week of the Technical Engineer, promoted by the Madeira Regional Section of the Order of Technical Engineers (OET).
The initiative, under the theme "Technical Engineers in the Service of Engineering and Portugal - Honoring History, Valuing Merit, and Uniting Generations to Build the Future," brought together members of the Order, representatives of official entities, guests, and families.
During the ceremony, Senior Technical Engineer diplomas were awarded to recognize the experience and professional path of members. There was also a tribute to professionals with 25 and 50 years of affiliation with the Order, with the presentation of medals and seniority diplomas, marking decades of dedication to the profession and contribution to the affirmation of Technical Engineering in Madeira.
The Madeira Regional Section also took the opportunity to honor its collaborators. The event marked the closing of a week of technical, institutional, cultural, and social activities, demonstrating the vitality of the profession in the region.
