Madeira TVDE association and Uber agree partnership for regional firms

The Madeira TVDE Association and Uber Portugal have signed an agreement to create new revenue opportunities for local TVDE operators.

The Madeira TVDE Association has announced a cooperation protocol with Uber Portugal. The partnership aims to add value to regional businesses working in individual passenger transport in unmarked vehicles (TVDE).

In a first phase, the project will place advertising on the sides of TVDE vehicles operating in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Participating companies will receive 100 euros per month for each vehicle that joins.

The association and Uber Portugal are also working to identify further projects that could bring benefits to the sector on the island.
