The Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA) has placed the North, South, and mountainous regions of Madeira under a yellow heat warning.
The alert will be in effect between 09:00 and 21:00 on Thursday, July 2nd.
Despite its proximity, Porto Santo is not under any weather warnings.
