For Thursday, July 9th, the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates periods of very cloudy skies across the Madeira archipelago.
There is a possibility of light showers on the northern slopes and in the island's highlands until the end of the morning. Winds will blow from the northwest, light to moderate (10-30 km/h), and the maximum temperature in the highlands is expected to decrease slightly.
In the Funchal region, skies will generally be partly cloudy with light winds under 15 km/h. Waves on the north coast will be around 1 meter, while on the south coast, they will be less than 1 meter. Sea water temperature is expected to range between 22 and 23 degrees Celsius.
