Madeira is expected to experience periods of very cloudy skies this Wednesday, July 29th, although Funchal will generally have little cloud cover.
According to the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), there is a possibility of light, scattered showers on the north-facing slopes and in the highlands of the island until early morning. The wind will generally be light, from the north quadrant, with a slight temperature increase expected in the higher areas.
Regarding sea conditions, north and northeast waves of about one meter are expected on the north coast, while waves on the south coast should be less than one meter. The sea water temperature is expected to range between 23 and 24 degrees Celsius.
