The Madeira Youth Symphony Orchestra has scheduled its annual concert for September 5th at 6 PM in the Noble Hall of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira.
Under the direction of Patrícia Khachkalyan Gomes, the concert will include the regional premiere of Sérgio Azevedo's "Little Symphony for Strings" and Carl Stamitz's "Viola Concerto," featuring soloist Alexander Pavtchinskii. The second half will present Mozart's "Symphony No. 39."
The orchestra benefits from the High Patronage of the President of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira and support from the Funchal City Council and Banco BPI/Fundação la Caixa.
