Micaela Freitas Assesses Technological Resources and Capabilities of Regional Civil Protection Service

The Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection attended a weekly briefing and monthly training session in Calheta.

The Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection, Micaela Freitas, presided over the Weekly Briefing of the Regional Operational Coordination Centre today, held at the Prazeres Pavilion in Calheta.

This was followed by a monthly training session for the Advanced Operational Command Post, featuring practical exercises for reconnaissance and situation assessment teams. "Our constant objective is to test the technological resources of the Regional Civil Protection Service and the capabilities of the different Civil Protection Agents," Freitas stated.

Micaela Freitas emphasized the importance of conducting these exercises in various municipalities, demonstrating the coordination among all agents. "This is the secret to the work of Civil Protection: teamwork, with a common language and constant coordination," she praised.
