Miguel Nunes, at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, has taken the lead in the Madeira Rally. The former leader, Giandomenico Basso, also in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, posted a poor time on the last stage of the third section, dropping to fourth place.
João Silva, in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, moved up to second, 8.4 seconds behind Nunes. Armindo Araújo is in third place on the podium, having recorded strong times on the second run through the timed stages. Rúben Rodrigues from the Azores rounds out the top five in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.
