A motorcyclist sustained injuries early Friday afternoon following a collision and skid that occurred in front of the Madeira District Court building in Funchal.
The circumstances of the accident are under investigation by the Public Security Police (PSP). According to an eyewitness, the accident may have happened after the motorcycle rider was hit by a vehicle's door.
Elements from the PSP and a team from the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters were present at the scene. After receiving initial care, the motorcyclist was transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
