Mountain rescue teams from the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters (BVM) and the Intervention Corps of the Public Security Police (PSP) held a joint training exercise.
The drill took place in the Ribeira das Cales area, a location that requires specific access and rescue techniques in rugged terrain.
The aim of these exercises is to enhance the coordination and operational capabilities of the different teams in complex rescue scenarios.
