European line maintenance specialist Nayak Aircraft Services acquired a controlling stake in Portuguese aviation services provider LAS Group in September.
The acquisition increases Nayak's line maintenance coverage in Portugal and adds new capabilities and labor support. LAS Group, based in Madeira, specializes in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.
Through this integration, Nayak aims to broaden its presence in the European MRO market and strengthen its service offerings for airlines and other operators.
