Nova Direita Launches Autonomy Library to Support Madeira Students

Nova Direita/Madeira has announced the creation of the Autonomy Library, an initiative starting with Law to provide Madeiran students with free access to legal bibliography that is difficult to obtain or prohibitively expensive.

The library, part of the party's newly formed political and legal studies office, will house doctrinal and jurisprudential works. Law students and graduates preparing for the bar exam can consult the books by appointment. For students on Porto Santo, books will be transported by a party delegate, and for those off the island, the party may digitize and send works in PDF format.

Regional coordinator Paulo Azevedo described the project as an "innovative initiative for the common good," aiming to offer financial relief to families. Nova Direita also appeals to former students and individuals to donate university course books to expand the collection. The initiative is planned to expand to other fields, and the national president, Ossanda Líber, is expected to attend the inauguration, with the date to be announced upon confirmation of the President of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira's availability.
