The Secretary of Regional Agriculture and Fisheries, Nuno Maciel, has adjusted his schedule for the 41st Regional Folklore Festival – '24 Horas a Bailar'.
Due to the national mourning declared for the upcoming Sunday, honoring victims of earthquakes in Venezuela, Maciel has cancelled his participation on that day. His presence is now scheduled only for Saturday at 5:30 PM, when the Folklore Review will be relaunched.
On this occasion, the regional secretary will also visit the stands of the 36th Regional Municipalities Fair, themed this year "Traditional Madeira Toys – Memories of Play". The event is organized by Casa do Povo de Santana with support from the Regional Government of Madeira.
