Next Saturday, July 11th, the Madeira House in the Azores will organize the 2026 Edition of the traditional Madeiran Festival at Jardim D. Leonor Afonso in Ponta Delgada, starting at 1:00 PM.
The event serves as a meeting point for the Madeiran community and supporters of Madeiran culture, extending an invitation to all Azorean residents. This year's festival marks the 40th anniversary of the Madeira House's founding in the Azores and the golden jubilee of the Autonomy of both Autonomous Regions.
The initiative, coinciding with the celebrations of Madeira Autonomous Region and Madeiran Communities Day, will feature the Teatro do Bolo do Caco. A fundraising campaign will also be held to support Madeiran families affected by earthquakes in Venezuela.
