Funchal will host an occupational medicine congress on October 15-16, focusing on 'Occupational Medicine in Times of Change: Climate, Mental Health, and the Future of Work'. The event aims to bring together national and international experts for two days of scientific exchange and debate.
Key challenges in the field will be addressed, including mental health and workplace stress, climate change and worker health, and ergonomics and remote work. The use of technology and artificial intelligence in risk assessment, workplace vaccination, and emerging diseases in immigrants will also be discussed.
The congress will be streamed online, allowing remote participation in all sessions.
