The Parish of Encarnação, located in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, will hold two important religious celebrations in August and September. The festivals are in honor of Our Lady of Encarnation and the Most Holy Sacrament.
The preparatory novenas for the patroness's feast, Our Lady of Encarnation, began on August 19th and continue until the 26th, with daily recitation of the rosary and mass. The liturgical feast will take place on August 30th, with mass and procession, followed by a festival animated by the group Amigos da Música.
Subsequently, on the first Sunday of September, the 5th, the parish will celebrate the solemnity of the Most Holy Sacrament. There will be a preparatory triduum on September 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, with adoration and eucharist. The main celebration will be on Sunday, with mass and procession, and a festival over the weekend with the Banda Recreio Camponês and the group Galáxia.
