The pedestrian walkway connecting Praia Formosa to Socorridos is temporarily closed to foot traffic.
The measure, taken by the Metropolitan Development Society in coordination with the Maritime Police and Funchal's Municipal Civil Protection Service, aims to safeguard users' physical integrity.
Technical work will be carried out to assess the walkway's safety conditions, paving the way for a future reopening. The authority requests the public's understanding and cooperation.
