The theme of the discussion is 'Is there a new world order? Global challenges of security, defense, and geopolitics'. The event will take place on October 2nd, starting at 10 AM, in the auditorium of the Electricity Museum – Casa da Luz, in Funchal. Lawyer Nuno Teixeira will moderate the debate.

Martins da Cruz, a career diplomat and former Foreign Minister, has also been actively participating in discussions about the reconfiguration of global power, emphasizing the competition between the United States, China, and Russia.
