The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates periods of heavy cloudiness across the island of Madeira this Friday, October 16th.
The wind is expected to be light to moderate, predominantly from the northeast.
In Funchal, the sky will be partly cloudy, with periods of increased cloudiness expected between mid-morning and late afternoon. Winds in the capital will be light.
Sea conditions on the north coast will feature northwest waves of 1.5 to 2 meters, while on the south coast, waves will come from the south quadrant, around 1 meter. The sea water temperature will be between 23 and 24ºC.
