The Metropolitan Development Society has announced the preventive closure of the boardwalk connecting Praia Formosa to Socorridos.
This decision was made in coordination with the Maritime Police and the Funchal Municipal Civil Protection Service.
Technical work will be carried out in the coming days to assess the safety conditions of the infrastructure, with a view to its potential reopening. The Society requests public understanding, deeming the measure responsible for ensuring everyone's safety.
