The PSD parliamentary group attended the Regional Banana Fair, held in Madalena do Mar.
Deputy Bina Pereira highlighted the event's significance in valuing the Madeiran banana, a product "deeply linked to the region's identity, landscape, and economy." Pereira underscored the contribution of farmers who "ensure its quality and preserve an activity with a strong presence in the Ponta do Sol municipality."
According to the parliamentarian, the Regional Banana Fair is "a privileged opportunity to showcase Madeira's best produce, bringing together producers, companies, and the public." She also noted that such initiatives act as a "true window to the outside world," enhancing the recognition and projection of Madeiran products in national and international markets.
