The Public Security Police (PSP) in Madeira reported a total of 76 traffic accidents that occurred over the past week.
Of these incidents, 17 led to the detention of drivers. The detentions were made due to various road traffic code violations, including driving under the influence of alcohol or psychotropic substances, and other serious breaches.
The PSP continues to urge caution and adherence to traffic rules to ensure road safety on the island.
