The Regional Command of the Madeira Public Security Police (PSP) announced that 76 road accidents occurred in the Autonomous Region of Madeira between September 25 and October 1, 2026.
These incidents resulted in 33 minor injuries and 2 serious injuries, with no fatalities recorded. The majority of accidents, 54 in total, were collisions.
Additionally, the PSP conducted enforcement operations that led to the arrest of 17 individuals for road traffic offenses.
