The Regional Command of the PSP in Madeira reported that 83 accidents occurred in the Autonomous Region of Madeira between June 26 and July 2, 2026.
These accidents resulted in a total of 31 minor injuries and 3 serious injuries. Fortunately, no fatalities were registered during this period.
The majority of incidents involved collisions, followed by 18 instances of skidding off the road. The PSP also reported arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol or without a legal license.
