PSP Reports 84 Accidents in Madeira, Causing 35 Minor Injuries and One Serious Injury

The Public Security Police released recent road safety data, recording 84 accidents with 35 minor injuries and one serious injury.

The Public Security Police (PSP) reported a total of 84 road accidents in Madeira, resulting in 35 minor injuries and one serious injury. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.

The municipality of Funchal, the most populous in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM), accounted for the highest number of incidents, with 28 accidents. Most of these were collisions, followed by 13 run-offs and 3 pedestrian incidents.

In addition, the PSP arrested 13 drivers for drunk driving and 9 for driving without a legal license, highlighting continued irresponsible behavior on the roads.
