The Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries, Nuno Maciel, will attend the official start of the 2026 grape harvest in the Region. The event is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:00 PM, at Sítio da Vargem, Caminho Ernesto Alves Pinto Correia.
This year's harvest campaign was brought forward to August 24th. This decision was made by the Management Council of the Institute of Wine, Embroidery, and Crafts, taking into account the grape maturation progress and increased deliveries to economic operators.
