The Regional Government of Madeira has announced the creation of the Programme for Support to the Guarantee of Social Stability II (PROAGES II), with a budget of €2,016,000.00.
This programme aims to enhance income support for families in intermediate socio-economic situations, with the Regional Directorate for Citizenship and Social Affairs as the managing entity.
Additionally, 42 programme contracts were authorized with the Casas do Povo of the Autonomous Region of Madeira to ensure their operation in 2026 and the promotion of social, economic, and cultural development initiatives. Programme contracts were also approved with ASA – Association for the Development of the Parish of Santo António for the "C@pacitar" and "Valorização Habitacional" projects, with the Centro Luís de Camões Association for the Social Support Service (SAS), and with Opus Gay – Obra Gay Association for its operation and activities.
