The parish of Ribeira da Janela, in the Northern Deanery, is preparing for the festivities in honor of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação, its patron saint. The celebrations will take place on the first weekend of August.

The vigil mass is scheduled for Saturday, August 1st, at 8:00 PM. On Sunday, the main feast mass will begin at 3:00 PM, followed by a procession.

The village fair kicks off on Friday, July 31st, with musical performances by Conjunto Galáxia, Henrique Teixeira, Yosi Pinto, and Lucy Teixeira. Saturday will feature the Banda Filarmónica do Arco de São Jorge, singer Buzico, the group Aoakaso, Roni de Melo, and Nel Monteiro, along with a bazaar collecting donations for the parish. Sunday's entertainment includes Banda Fixe, Grupo de Folclore do Curral das Freiras, comedian 4 Litro, and singers Miro Freitas and Mini Break.
