The President of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Rubina Leal, visited the 41st edition of ExpoMadeira, an event focused on entrepreneurship and economic promotion.
Leal emphasized the tradition and strong public participation in the fair, which attracted around 60,000 visitors last year. She highlighted the "good moment" the region's business sector is experiencing, noting above-average economic growth and low unemployment.
The official also praised the initiative's vitality, reflecting the strength of Madeiran entrepreneurship, and thanked the "initiative of entrepreneurs and the competence and dedication of workers," stating that "the economy thrives on confidence, and we are currently in a moment of confidence." ExpoMadeira runs until July 12.
