The Santo da Serra Golf Club (CGSS) will host a leg of the Faldo Junior Tour from October 16 to 18. This international youth golf circuit, founded by Nick Faldo, is dedicated to identifying and developing young talent.
The event marks the competition's debut in Portugal, taking place in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. It reinforces the island's capacity to host international sporting events and its standing as a golf destination. The tournament offers young athletes a chance to compete in a challenging environment and engage in cultural exchange.
Paulo Sousa, President of CGSS, expressed pride in hosting the event, highlighting the club's goals of promoting golf, sports training, and Madeira as a destination. "It is particularly rewarding to provide our young players with the opportunity to compete alongside athletes from different nationalities," he stated.
