Santo da Serra registered a maximum temperature of 32.0 ºC on Monday, the highest value observed by the IPMA network stations in Madeira by 2 PM.
The station recorded a thermal amplitude of 15.3 ºC, between a minimum of 16.7 ºC at 4:20 AM and a maximum of 32.0 ºC. In Prazeres, the maximum reached 30.7 ºC, and Pico do Areeiro marked 29.2 ºC at 1 PM.
All IPMA stations across the archipelago recorded maximum temperatures above 24.7 ºC, observed in Ponta do Pargo. The lowest minimum temperature since midnight was 16.4 ºC in Santana.
