An accident occurred early this afternoon in Funchal, involving a scooter and a vehicle.
The collision took place on Rua Quinta do Leme, near the intersection with Rua da Bela Vista.
The 61-year-old scooter rider reported lumbar and cervical pain. The Funchal Volunteer Firefighters provided initial assistance at the scene and transported the injured man to the emergency department of Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
