The Seixal Parish Council has supported seven families and eight babies under its Prenatal Support program, a measure aimed at encouraging childbirth and assisting resident families.
Each beneficiary received a financial grant of 600 euros to help cover expenses related to pregnancy and the early months of a child's life, thereby promoting family well-being.
Parish Council President Xavier Castro emphasized the significance of these initiatives, stating it's "a way of being alongside our families during such an important moment in their lives." He added that it is crucial to create conditions for young couples to build their future in the parish with security and confidence, reaffirming the commitment to proximity policies that value people and encourage birth rates.
