The SESARAM Mental Health Promotion Working Group is organizing a Regional Mental Health Seminar and a Scientific Meeting for Mental Health and Psychiatric Nurse Specialists on October 12th at the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
The seminar will cover topics such as the future of mental health and current care challenges, while the nurses' meeting will focus on mental health law and specialty competencies.
Alongside these events, a public awareness campaign titled 'Together, we make Mental Health a priority' is underway, with informational materials available at the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital and Bom Jesus Health Center. On October 10th, regional buildings will be illuminated green for the ‘Madeira Illuminated for Mental Health’ initiative.
