The third phase of the construction of the Central and University Hospital of Madeira is closer to having a contractor, with the submission deadline for bids having passed.
Three consortia are competing for the project, with a base price set at 415 million euros. The consortium led by Teixeira Duarte submitted a bid of 353,954,417.30 euros, the lowest among the three.
The award criterion is the most economically advantageous offer, with price accounting for 70% of the score and technical value for 30%. Teixeira Duarte's proposal represents a reduction of approximately 61 million euros from the base price.
