The exhibition 'The Generation That Acts' has opened to the public at MadeiraShopping, showcasing practical work and environmental volunteering actions developed by students throughout the academic year. The display, which can be visited until July 12, was officially inaugurated on Friday, attended by the Regional Secretary for Education, Science and Technology, Elsa Fernandes.
The event also recognized students who most reduced their carbon footprint via the Greener Act digital platform. This pilot project involved approximately 170 students from the Atlântico Professional School, encouraging them to adopt more sustainable habits. Elsa Fernandes emphasized the youth's active role in promoting sustainability, stating that environmental challenges are current and individual actions matter.
