A fire broke out in a tree early this Wednesday morning on Rua do Favilla, near Avenida do Infante, in Funchal.
The flames are believed to have been set in a plane tree shortly after 1:30 AM. The Funchal Volunteer Firefighters were alerted at 1:43 AM and dispatched a heavy vehicle and five personnel to combat the fire.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries resulted from the incident.
