Two United States sailors were removed from a tourist zone in Thailand after becoming involved in an altercation. The incident took place in Pattaya, a nightlife area, during a port call by the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
Local police reported that the two servicemen were intoxicated and allegedly caused a public disturbance. Thai authorities ordered their departure from the city and escorted them back to the ship. No criminal charges were filed against the sailors.
