Volunteers raise awareness about addictive substance risks at Academic Festival

The Regional Health Directorate, through UCAD, conducted prevention activities on the risks of alcohol and substance abuse at the Academic Festival.

The Regional Health Directorate, via the Operational Unit for Intervention in Addictive Behaviors and Dependencies (UCAD), carried out preventive interventions at the Academic Festival.

The #Vibes4U NoDrugs project aims to alert attendees to the dangers associated with excessive alcohol and other substance consumption. The initiative involved young university volunteers who disseminated preventive messages through peer education.

This action, organized by Académica da Madeira, is part of the '+ Summer Without Drugs' campaign and collaborated with the Nursing School São José Cluny, the University of Madeira, and the Public Security Police (PSP).
