Madeira hosted the official launch of the 1st Forum on Vulnerable Childhood in Macaronesia, an initiative that unites representatives from Madeira, the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, and the Azores.
The aim is to strengthen cooperation among the four archipelagos in seeking solutions to the challenges affecting vulnerable children and young people. The ceremony, held at the Conservatory – School of Arts of Madeira, marks a significant step in the creation of the first White Paper on Vulnerable Childhood in Macaronesia, a document intended to guide future policies and intervention strategies in this field.
