A woman felt unwell this morning on Rua dos Piornais, in Funchal, prompting the deployment of emergency services at 8:30 AM.
The Funchal Sapadores Firefighters (BSF) were mobilized with an ambulance. The Madeirense Volunteer Firefighters (BVM) sent a vehicle to facilitate access to the residence, in case forced entry was necessary.
The woman subsequently felt better and was able to open the door, negating the need for BVM intervention. She was attended by the BSF and later transported to the hospital.
