The Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, through the Regional Directorate of Education, is marking World Music Day with an Educational Concert.
The event will take place on October 1st and 2nd in the auditorium of the Casa da Cultura de Câmara de Lobos, aimed at approximately 500 students from about 25 primary schools in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The show "Conjuntos e Ritmos Modernos" (Ensembles and Modern Rhythms), performed by the DSEA Orchestra, will feature original Madeiran music from the 1940s to 1970s, highlighting composers and groups of that era. Additionally, the DSEA is offering schools the "Sound Also Tells Stories" activity, focused on exploring and creating sound design.
