The 39th Machico Gastronomic Week concluded with an extremely positive assessment, reinforcing the event's status as a key reference point in Madeira. Over ten days, the initiative welcomed thousands of visitors, fostering gastronomy, entertainment, and social gatherings.
This year's edition featured innovations such as LED Wall screens for enhanced interaction and a revamped bar area. The focus on each restaurant's unique gastronomic identity allowed visitors to explore regional flavors through typical dishes. The Gastronomic Experience at the Forte de Nossa Senhora do Amparo was fully booked every day.
The organization also emphasized its commitment to sustainability, with external monitoring by SGS, and its digital reach, achieving approximately 2.5 million views on social media. The Machico Municipal Council is already preparing for the 40th edition, scheduled from July 30 to August 8, 2027, which will feature seven national artists.
