The 69th Madeira Agricultural Fair will commence tomorrow, July 17, 2026, in the parish of Santa, Porto Moniz. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 5:00 PM and will be attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, José Manuel Fernandes, at the invitation of the Regional Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries of Madeira, Nuno Maciel.
This year's event will feature approximately 150 exhibitors, a 33% increase compared to 2025. Companies from the agricultural sector, farmers, artisans, flower producers, beekeepers, cider and craft beer producers, agricultural processing companies, and sector associations will be represented. The livestock component remains a major attraction, with 176 animals present, including 83 for exhibition, 80 for sale, and 13 for auction, covering species such as cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, and poultry.
