ADN Madeira has requested the disclosure of information regarding negotiations for the next European Union Financial Framework (2028-2034). The party seeks to know the amount to be allocated to the region and the funding conditions, as Madeira's positions have already been formalized.
Among the region's demands are the maintenance of regional participation and management of funds, favorable co-financing rates, increased cohesion funds, continuation of POSEI, and instruments to offset the costs of ultra-peripherality. ADN Madeira notes progress in the European Strategy for Ultra-Peripheral Regions and in the positions of the Council and European Parliament, but emphasizes that financial and horizontal issues remain under negotiation.
