The ADN-Madeira party has denounced the lack of public lighting on Vereda da Longueira, in Assomada, Caniço. According to the party, this situation has persisted for several years without responsible entities providing a solution.
The most affected area is near the 'Academia da Fantasia' nursery and several terraced houses. ADN-Madeira believes the absence of light poses a safety risk to residents and those who use the path at night.
The party reported that residents have already filed complaints with the Santa Cruz Municipal Council and the Caniço Parish Council, without response. E-Redes/EEM was also contacted, but no entity has taken responsibility for resolving the issue. ADN-Madeira calls for timely action from the authorities.
