The President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, expressed his wish for the current situation in Madeira to remain unchanged during the celebrations of the Feast of Our Lady of Monte.
Albuquerque highlighted economic growth and historically low unemployment, noting 62 consecutive months of growth and the lowest summer unemployment in 23 years. He also mentioned investment and established confidence in the region.
The official also addressed the situation of elderly care homes and housing, with ongoing works and the handover of new homes, ensuring compliance with deadlines under the PRR.
