The Anjos Teixeira Gallery will host the event Killed by the Police in the Milk Revolt on Thursday, 29 October, at 7 p.m.
Edgar Silva will speak about the popular uprising of 1936 on the island of Madeira.
According to a statement, the event is part of the programme marking 90 years of the Milk Revolt and the preparations for the centenary of this episode in the struggle against Salazar's dictatorship in Portugal.
