Camacha will celebrate the apple from October 1st to 4th during its 39th Apple Festival. Organized by the Parish Council of Camacha and the Rochão Folklore Group, the event promises four days of tradition, gastronomy, culture, and entertainment.
The highlight of the program is the performance by Luís Trigacheiro on Saturday, October 3rd, at Largo Conselheiro Aires de Ornelas. Festivities also include the traditional Apple Parade, an Apple Pressing Tent, a showcooking event, and stalls selling local products. The closing on Sunday, October 4th, will feature Márcio Amaro.
