The Vereda do Areeiro trail, on its path to Pico Ruivo, will be closed for six days in September to carry out previously scheduled works.
The closure will take place between September 14 and 17, and will be repeated on September 21 and 22. The restriction specifically affects the stretch between the Pedra Rija Viewpoint and Pico Ruivo.
Visitors can access the Pedra Rija Viewpoint and return the same way, but it will not be possible to proceed to Pico Ruivo during the closure periods. Respect for signage and on-site instructions is requested.
